UNDERCOVER

Be it in a boat cabin, in an RV or camper trailer or under a Bali Hut or entertaining deck, our JENSEN and Voyager brand electronics are specifically designed from the ground-up to handle all the rigors you may encounter while on the road or exposed to the elements. All products go through strenuous testing and validation (see below for some of the tests performed) to ensure that they will withstand the rigors of the road.

Our entire line of JENSEN stereos, speakers and LCD TVs are exclusively engineered to operate properly even under the harshest conditions such as extreme temperatures, condensation, salt, humidity and vibration. In addition, with conformal-coated circuitry and reinforced internal structure and integrated mounting points JENSEN is the only line of LCD TVs to be developed and built precisely for mobile use.alt

Our Voyager Observation Systems, which include heavy duty monitors and weatherproof side and rear cameras, help avoid costly accidents by enabling drivers to backup safely and easily by eliminating dangerous blind spots mirrors miss so you never lose sight of other vehicles whether backing up or changing lanes.

We have a very hands-on Research & Development and Engineering department as all JENSEN and Voyager products go through a myriad of strenuous tests to ensure product durability and performance in all mobile applications.

Some of the exclusive engineering tests that we perform on products include the following:

High and Low Temperature Operation Tests - Uses the Temperature/Humidity Chamber to subject products to extreme high and low temperatures. Used to ensure product components can withstand temperature fluctuations.

High and Low Temperature Storage Tests - Uses the Temperature/Humidity Chamber to subject products to extreme high and low temperatures. Used to ensure sitting product components (with no power on) can withstand temperature fluctuations.

Vibration Test - Uses Vibration Table to subject products to multiple Gs of vibration. Simulates rough conditions that vehicles can encounter while out on the road. This test ensures that ASA products can withstand the bumps, jolts, and vibrations commonly met in mobile environments.

Humidity Soak - Uses Temperature/Humidity Chamber to subject electronics to 100+ degrees and 95% humidity for up to 12 hours.

Pressure Wash and Dunk Tests (when applicable) - Primarily used for marine-worthy or outdoor audio equipment. The Pressure Wash Test subjects the products to high pressure water and the Dunk Test submerges the product in ice cold and extremely hot water to ensure waterproof/water resistance of marine/outdoor equipment.

Low and High Operating Voltage Tests - Both tests use the power supply to apply low and high voltage to the electronics. These tests are used to ensure electronics consistency when vehicle battery goes below or above the normal 12V.

Load Dump Test - Applies normal voltage (13.8VCD average of a car battery), plus a +67 Volt pulse 5 times to the product. This ensures that our products can withstand voltage fluctuations.

Shorted Input/Output Test - Uses product cables and shorts all inputs and outputs to B+ and Ground to ensure the product will function even when inputs and outputs are connected improperly.

Simulated Crank Start Voltage Test - Utilizes an arbitrary waveform generator that applies AC current over DC current. Used to test ASA electronics depreciation and altercations when vehicle is turned on.

Choose JENSEN and Voyager for the road and leave the others at home.
