No expensive iPod interface boxes or hardware. No risk of moisture ingress by inserting anything into your stereo.
When you purchase your Jensen MSR2007, 3007 or 7007 simply order a JIPDCBL12 iPod interface cable (RRP $50.00) and plug and play.
Why does Jensen use a cable ?
An iPod interface cable is a cost effective and stable solution to iPod connection. Alternate solutions such as interface boxes used by other manufacturers are a quick fix solution to bring old technology up to speed.
We believe that keeping your iPod out of the conditions and harms way is a priority. Using the interface cable enables you to plug your iPod directly into the rear of the receiver and store it in a safe dry location (3m cable). Once the iPod interfaces with your stereo using the JIPDCBL12 the receiver display becomes your iPod, you can skip, select, and randomly play from the Jensen display as if you were using your own iPod, all the time knowing that your iPod is safe and sound.
Other brands of iPod compatible stereos work by inserting the iPod into the face of the stereo. This in itself can result in moisture being directly deposited into the receiver resulting in corrossion, not forgeting to mention the real possiblilty of your iPod being "swallowed" by the stereo.
